If your Excel application is developed in Windows 7 and used under Windows XP all of sudden, a reference could be missing. For example: 'Microsoft Active Data Object 6.0 Library’ is only available in Vista/Windows 7.
The XP equivalent is ‘Microsoft ActiveX Data Object 2.8 Library’.
References in VBA projects should be set in Excel 2007 version (Office 12) & Windows XP, if Office 2007 & Windows XP onwards compatibility is required.

Reference to a library cannot be added, if a sheet codename with the same name already exists in the workbook. For example, if a sheet codename is named as 'Scripting', reference to 'Microsoft Scripting Runtime' cannot be added.
